Two special reading series
May 3, 2015
Good day -Spring has fully arrived here in North Carolina, which means pollen by the yellow bucketload, but also azaleas, iris, roses....
I hiked at Stone Mountain State Park this weekend and saw wonderful dwarf iris and a pretty orchid that I'm still working to identify.
School is out and I'm hitting the road. I'm so pleased to be reading in the Piccolo Spoleto Festival Sundown Series, 6:30 p.m. May 27 at the Dock Street Theatre. I'll spend the next day just drinking in the art and music in Charleston.
A month later, June 27, I will spend the day at the West Virginia Book Fair at Tamarack, reading sometime in the afternoon and greeting old friends in the Mountain State during the day.
On July 19, I am honored to be appearing with Grace Cavalieri in the Joaquin Miller Reading Series, Rock Creek Park, Washington, DC. The reading begins at 3 p.m. at the Rock Creek Nature Center.
See you soon -
